Let's welcome this
new Texan label Hive, which will produce industrial, dark-electronic,
ebm, noise-experimental music.
This is the first of the 3 scheduled CD, a compilation (with
14 track) that it includes important virtuoso names of the above
mentioned genres. A multi-faced selection which puts together
different digital approaches, rather powerful rhythms, cosmic-trance
escapes, aggressive lyrics, technoid delirium, industrial experimentations
of several sorts. Let's dissect the content... Between the more
destructive ebm-industrial line-ups we find the historical "Aghast
View" (elaborate and strict), "Monstrum Sepsis"
(considerable melodic lines), "God Module" (a "pumped"
fetish-ebm). Linear beats and intriguing trance solutions for
successful "Negative Format" and for the amateur "Diverje".
It's pointless to stress the virtues of artists like Detritus,
Mimetic, Mlada Fronta and Tarmvred, they are here to add spice
to the CD! "Codec" faces essential electro sonorities,
while "Reflection Theory" embroiders a chill out synth-POP
weave. Breaknoise fumes with the interesting "The Maschine
Made Flesh". Industrial-rock ferments by "Stromkern".
Trip-hop influences and acoustic-POP interpretations in the
track "Daughter Darling", and a dreamy female voice.
A good start that assures and emphasizes expectations, a good
