Lament
represents the first release of this new and promising project
by Frank Mokros (Synth-etik and Ativ),
an exciting complex mix of drifting frequencies, modern rhythmic
patterns and iconoclast industrial fadings.
This MCD consists of 5 tracks + 2 remixes of "Lament"
executed by Imminent and Klangstabil.
For 50 minutes Totakeke sounds project endless artificial sequences,
new installations absorbed by the interstellar lens of futuristic
atmospheres.
The compositions are very long and lush, intricate vegetations
of iper-dynamic pulses nesting throughout, waving synthetically
and dreaming of asynchronous twilights. Beats never too much
aggressive and tensions well balanced, sailing on voluptuous
bassy-breaks and luxuriant droney distortions.
But this journey includes also wide panoramic scenes, stage
effetcts where live evolved minds and perfect systems. The title-track
leaves behind the others a bit in order to spread larger scraping
radiations, however alternated with relaxing azure spheres.
Then Imminent transforms it in more tearing turbulences, while
Klangstabil refines and expands its ultraviolet horizons.
A superlative and unforgettable debut, not to miss! Aseptic
independent noisescapes. |
