SLEEPING PICTURES
Nether Edge |
Finally Sleeping
Pictures brings to light his debut album. London duo, formed
by Marc Blackie (vocals, lyrics) and Gary Parsons (music) guide
us towards metaphysical folk dimensions by rare intensity and
ardor. The opus is supported by valid musicians as: Hunter Barr
(bass), John Murphy (percussions), Renée Rosen (strings)
and Tony Wakeford (bass).
Spleeping Pictures music joins tones and contrasts extremely
interesting, inserting shining acoustic melodies in vibrating
existential distortions, the intoxicating sensibility of violins
reflected on charming percussions.
Atmospheres which touch different emotional levels, stopping
often on elegiac currents and decadent essences. Marc's words
fight between the dream and the shadow, the cold and the passion,
animating heated under the Eternal Wheel. Eyes reclined on the
human uncertainties, reflections clinged on the spiritual confusion
and observations embedded between the ambiguities of the idols.
Just a circle of psychological mirrors, magic dimensions, esoteric
poetics and sylvan refractions. A musical course that comes
up to the pre-existent precious columns as Current 93, Sol Invictus
and Sieben.
New shapes of sensibility handed down from the Great Mother. |
