| Finally here
it is the new work of Volker Kahl & Gabor Schablitzki,
an EP published by the ascending M-Tronic, rich of particular
energies and visions. Undoubtedly an eclectic product, from
the infinite digital formulas, with a creative mind turned
towards fascinating and disowned shapes of the chaos.
There aren't precise thematic references in the 4 traces of
Hôte (+ 5 remixes), there aren't limits or ties to the
creativity of its creators who space between excellent cinematic-ambient
atmospheres, to psycho-noise crystals, from overbearing drum'n'noise
assaults to melancholic neoclassical crystals. Instrument
analyses the mind of machine, mind that becomes more and more
near similar to living shapes, with its transparent mysteries
and its hypnotic vibrations. Sensorial lagoons mirror in "Hôte
1", relaxant biochemistry navigation.
"Hôte 2" abandons the sonorous peace in order
to erect drum'n'noise, voracious, and obsessive barricades,
conserving limpid and persuasive melodies, fragmented rhythms,
interminable, crionic spirals; to live also in dance floor
thanks to the fantastic remix of Electronicat.
Green lights dance in humid aviaries of "Hôte 3"
(triphop-ish), delicate suite by microscopically synthetic
embroideries.
More break-ambient "Hôte 4", "alphanumerical
virtuosisms & ecstatic loops. A listen that doubles with
appeal thanks to particular remixes of Displacer, Electronicat,
Dither, Venetian Snares and Zoviet France; interesting and
effective reworks.
