AL-WAHAAR DHIN
The Third Power Of Alfta |
| Well, how to describe
this album? As far as I know, Drakhon of MZ412 has created it
- 6 longer tracks of trancey, technoid rhythm-"industrial".
Added are different particles of chants with arab / oriental
harmonies. It reminded of muezzin-like melodies. I hope this
classification matches the music a bit. The tracks have layered
rhythm-loops and you can concentrate on the different layers
while listening. the repeated loops create the trancey, hypnotic
feeling and are switched on and off from time to time... Judged
by the structure, to my mind came a bit Melek-Tha's "Gloriam
Demondi...", but not that dark and oppressive. And the
rhythms are faster than -lord evils'- gloriam... The percussive
elements are slowly morphing, the tension doesn't fade because
of that. You will hear with each listening different and new
aspects created by the amount of rhythms layered and every single
rhythm morphes in itself. As conclusion I would say, this Cd
is worth it's money - if you have enough to invest it in music.
If not, this release seems not limited to small quantities,
so you can also get it a bit later, too. |
